this may work for dumb cheaters, but many of them will simply allow your server's IP to passthrough..

hopefully autogallery's proxy scans will help remedy that problem, but even that's not foolproof..
it's better than checking one by one by hand everyday, imagine if you have 10 tgps and 100's of galleries per site, will you check all of them one by one by hand? I don't think so...

i like good submitters, it's worth (form me) to investigate is he a cheater or not. i'll never let any script decide for me. and i do not plan 10 tgp's but i understand your point Ramtar.

yes

all my sites are partner only, so i only need to conduct 'maintenance checks' every so often.. everytime i add new partner(s) i watch them like a hawk.. yes, by hand..

agSQL's solution isn't necessarily better... it could lull you into a false sense of security.. all it takes is 1 to slip through and destroy your site's credibility..

course it helps when u get an employee to do it instead.. =)

I don't think so, I have to say the script is a powerfull tool that detects all these cheaters, you can make it run several times per day and it will catch all unusual activities. You don't have any idea how many cheaters the script stopped for me, the trick is on how you configure it.

Yeah it may not be perfect, at the end it's a program, but saves you lot of time.

Whatever if you have your employers do it for you by hand, keep that way....

Yeah, but the submitter also has a responsability, I cannot do his job, if I make sure the galleries I submit to tgps work, then I expect the same from the people to submit to my sites.
