After seeing the post on what webmasters do, I thought maybe a follow-up would be how we got started in this insane business. :nut:

I started off in late 98 more or less on a dare. A Lady I know who owns a good sized Adult (non-Asian) site and I were talking. I said I wanted to try to get some experience at website management. She told me...
John, there are few free and honest sites promoting the many Ladies on the internet. Why not build a "convention" site or clearing house and do some promo's? I bet the Ladies will send you material for advertising...and freely!"

Well, they did. and I got going. I moved to the Asian niche because I simply find Asian Ladies more erotic and the niche is tighter than the Western market. If you wonder who I have worked with in the beginning see: http://webnetladies.com/nav/loti-main.htm . Check the Nav link for the list of Ladies, you may know a few. I really did get to know the majority of them. No stolen images there.

ALOTI has done fairly good on growth, we get a decent amount of traffic. I am happy to say that I have gotten a few really good interviews with Asian top models, like Kiko ( http://webnetladies.com/asian/aloti/kiko/index1.htm ) and have a few others I am working with. I guess I am doing something right. I have a setup with Akira now for an exclusive, hope it pans.

My goal is to present a free area for surfers to get a real taste and information on Asian Ladies, adult culture and information. Now I am looking for premium webmasters wanting to use this for promo for their areas as sponsors. I really enjoy the work, takes a bunch of effort, but in the long run, what the hell! I don't want to compete with the many great premium sites, but work with them, that is the current learning process for me.

So that's my story and I am sticking to it. Anyone else care to share? And BTW, I am open to criticism or suggestions in a constructive nature. I may not agree, but feedback is great.

Thanx
John

I got started when i was doing warez sites.. For games and apps etc.. then i saw xpics put a few ads on my site, next thing you know they started sending money, their cheques were sooo nice, it kinda looks like adultrevenueservice cheques... I went HEY!! I want more.. and I started doing this.. But now i wish i didn't do this, the money isn't all that great and alot of worrying about IF my cheques come.. Bandwidth is going higher and higher due to large amounts of traffic, hoping to break even every month. Putting in alot more hours into this.. Very hard to find a sponsor to trust now a days. Argh, i think i'm going to die very young from all this worrying.. Now a days i'm trying to develop my own paysite with Oppa's friend (bblover), so i have control of my own income.. Seriously if your a new webmaster, i wish you all the best.... Very tough now adays not like before as you all know.....

PEOPLE start posting i'm really bored.. I wanna hear your stories..

I’ll make this as short as possible.

In late ‘97 I was only 16 and my main source for porn enjoyment was Newsgroups (this is back when they were 90% content and 10% spam) when I found the infamous XPics. I don’t remember how I found them but I do remember my shitty little scam. I never had an Adult site nor really knew much about them so I concocted a scheme where I set up a website on my ISP’s free space and made a page with just banners, then I’d click them myself, I’d hang up my internet connection, redial, log-on, and then click my own banners again. I eventually automated this process with a macro program and was making a whopping $15 every week for a month or two.

Then in the summer of ’98 (the infamous) Bert is Evil website was being shut down due to prohibitive costs and the creator was offering anyone with the will to open their own Bert is Evil Mirror Site the opportunity to do so. I jumped at the chance and became the coveted Mirror #1! Thousands of cult humour fans started streaming into my mirror site and my evil brain told me to add porn ads so eventually I did and that’s when the money started rolling in. I ran my beautiful porn financed mirror until October 2001 when one of my sites “exclusive” Bert is Evil pictures featuring Bert with Osama Bin Laden ended up in an Anti-American / Pro 9/11 protest poster in Bangladesh. I spend the next 3 days forming an ulcer in my stomach trying to get international press to leave me alone! They finally did, I shut my mirror down, and focused all my time towards the 100% Porn sites I had luckily started half a year earlier.

And that brings me to the present day. Short, sweet, and one hell of a ride. :smoking:

you were the guy who ran burtisevil.com? hahhaahaI wish I had gotten that domain first but no I'm not that guy. That was a Mr. Fitzgerald, he ran a hardcore porn Bert is Evil mirror, him being a content producer and all... he was forced to shut down his mirror a year earlier by Sesame Street lawyers because he had some Porn Star sticking a Bert doll in her vagina and surprise, surprise, the folks at Sesame didn't like that too much.

i started in 1998 when i saw people selling paysite designs for $2500-$5000 and thought, fuck i could do that and built my first paysite in 1999. got into the cj and tgp thing in late 1999, early 2000. started making more money there than with my paysite, so i dumped my paysite.

ok, let me see...
I started somewhere 1999, I just bought a new computer and was browsing internet porn for the first time, I didn't know nothing about porn industry then.
After for a while I got sick of CJ sites that circle jerked me around, I said "*uck it! I'm goona start new clean porn site nobody's ever done it before!", I thought I was the first one to start clean porn site.
I didn't know that there were Tommy, Greeny, PK or Richard out there.
I made a couple of web sites and strated submitting them to link sites,
but they had so many BS rules for webmasters and I wasn't happy with all thoes link sites, so I said "*uck it! I'm goona start new clean link site nobody's ever done it before!".
I started Cyberprince's #1 Sex Links site and I have now more BS rules than anybody, then I started making galleries and submmting to TGP sites, but those TGP sites had a lot of rules that I didn't like, so I said "*uck it! I'm goona start new TGP site nobody's ever done it before!"
so I startes Cyberprince's Sexhook Asian TGP site last March and here I am now with a lots of BS rules for my TGP site.
