Hi everyone,

I need to find a new webhost. Can anyone recommend a host that's cheap, around $10/month and offers about a gig or two of bandwidth?

Off the top of my head I can think of these two inexpensive hosts... http://www.cobaltweb.com/ & http://hosting.likewhoa.com/ but I havenít used either so I can't recommend one over the other.

$10 a month is a bit cheap. What are you looking to do with the space? I use National-Net - http://www.national-net.com/ for my hosting and find them extremely responsive and always online. Visit their site and look their plans over. I swear by them, I have not been down once in three years and the customer/tech support is fabulous. The pricing plans are here: http://www.national-net.com/products/virtualpricing.html. They start at $14.95 per month for 50 meg and 3 gig.

Cheaper hosts place limits on file size and really bite you in the butt for BW excesses. These folks place no file size limits and are agreeable to customization of plans for you after you are established. It is you area to do with as you wish. Your best bet is to pick a good host and not look for bargain basement. You could be sorry. I am not pitching a sale here for them, just I really like them. A good friend recommended them (Lil Mona, if anyone knows her) and I could not be happier.
