This last 1.5 weeks have been up and down for me in terms of sales and rebills -- some days rock and some days don't -- it's going completely against the norm! Anyone else here experiencing a downward spiral of sales and rebills?

Some guy wants to advertise on my site. What is a fair price per 1000 uniques on a standard banner?

austin i think a fair price would be 1.00 since thats the norm for exit pop-ups but what do i know. well, a couple of monthz back a guy asked me how much i charge for my top banner on my tgp and i told him he'd never make back the money i charge for it so i kept it to myself. i dont want his money since i know he wont make t back. but a top banner on my site could get from around 3-7 sales a mmonth.

i used to calculate by per clicks.

1000 x .02 (or how ever much u charge per click) x 30 = 600

then if u feel that's too little, too much, u can adjust accordingly, but it gives u a ball park.

What I always find funny about people talking about sales going up and down is that this is a business like a brick and mortar business so your sales are completely dependant on people coming thru your sites, and then so many factors after that, that I don't intend or want to write them all down :

Your sales will go up and down, what your expectations should be is dollars per month/week/day and then make that the goal instead of actual conversions/sales, I go up and down and can go from between 100-200 sales a month from submitting but my income is usually pretty constant, my submitting income is usually around the same dollar figure each month and that is all that matters :) at least to me and my bank account :)
